Colin Jones

Colin is one of the UK's leading Casting Directors. His most recent film 'Love At First Sight' starring Haley Lu Richardson and Ben Hardy is out now on Netflix and has been the no.1 film for Netflix in over 74 countries. He has The Surfer starring Nic Cage premiering at Cannes in Midnight Screenings selection. And he also recently cast the ten part Disney + series 'Nautilus' - the origin story of Captain Nemo based on Jules Verne's classic novel 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. Colin cast Series 2 of the acclaimed series 'The Great' (which has been Emmy, Golden Globe, BAFTA nominated) starring Nicholas Hoult and Elle Fanning. His recent film credits include 'The Master and Margarita' which has been the controversial no.1 hit in Russia in 2024; "The Trouble with Jessica" which won the Grand Jury Prize and Audience Award at Dinard Film Festival; 'The Hanging Sun' which premiered at Venice Film Festival; and 'Vivarium' starring Jesse Eisenberg and Imogen Poots which was nominated for the Critics' Week Grand Prize in Cannes.. He has worked with an array of award winning directors including Whit Stillman, Agnieszka Holland, Wim Wenders, Mary Herron, Pedro Almodovar and John Maclean. Some further recent credits include Love & Friendship (Premiered at Sundance and nominated for a Golden Globe), Six Minutes to Midnight (starring Judi Dench), Mr Jones (Premiered at Berlinale), Get Duked! (SXSW Winner) Horrible Histories (3 BAFTA Nominations) and Girl With All The Gifts (BAFTA Nominated). Colin has served on several recent BAFTA jury selection committees.
