ALEX JOHNSON

Alex is a London-based casting director working on features, television, and short films.

After working in production for several years Alex moved over to casting, initially with Nina Gold and then for several years with Celestia Fox, working with many top-tier directors such as Terrence Malik, Richard Eyre, and Roman Polanski. In 2008 Alex set up her own company and has worked on an array of productions with an emphasis on nurturing and discovering new and diverse talent.

Some of her notable credits over the years include the Helen Mirren-led GOLDA, GOODBYE CHRISTOPHER ROBIN, starring Margot Robbie and Domhall Gleeson, ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS: THE MOVIE with Rebel Wilson, Cara Delevingne, Jennifer Saunders, and Joanna Lumley, both instalments in the FISHERMAN’S FRIENDS series, and MR NICE, with Rhys Ifans, David Thewlis and Chloe Sevigny.
