Richard Crompton left the UK in 2005 and has lived around the globe. He was a producer and journalist for the BBC and other international broadcasters. In 2010 Richard won the Daily Telegraph ghost story competition. His Mollel series, The Honey Guide, Hell’s Gate and Night Runners, (W&N) is set in the sprawling 21st-century metropolis of Nairobi, Kenya, where Richard lived for a decade. He currently lives in Rome.
