Tamsyn Manson

Tamsyn is an award-winning Casting Director with extensive experience and expertise across British and international feature films, TV series, and independent productions.

Having initially studied Stage Management at RADA, Tamsyn began her career at Markham, Froggatt & Irwin, where she worked as an agent’s assistant for six years, also establishing the agency’s in-house press and publicity department, which continues to run today. In 2015, she transitioned into casting, working extensively with Reg Poerscout-Edgerton and Amy Hubbard on projects ranging from Jimmy McGovern’s BBC series BROKEN to ROCKETMAN, Marvel's ETERNALS, and MOON KNIGHT.

Since launching her own casting office in June 2021, she has played a pivotal role in casting for a variety of projects, including WICKED; PART 1 and WICKED; FOR GOOD (Universal Pictures/ Marc Platt Productions), BEST INTERESTS (BBC/ Chapter One), ALEXANDER; MAKING OF A GOD (Netflix) and CUCKOO (Neon/ Waypoint/ Fiction Park) in addition to short films and development work. Her work as the UK Casting Director on WICKED; PART 1 earned her the prestigious CSA Artios Award for Outstanding Achievement in Casting.

Beyond her casting work, Tamsyn is honoured to serve as Treasurer of the Global Chapter Board of Governors for The Casting Society (CSA) and is a proud voting member of both BAFTA and BIFA (British Independent Film Awards).
